Starting at zero

This intensive introduces some core component necessary to execute even the most basic 'styles

The 2 minute bag - introduces the ability to shape flat fabric into usable forms

The baste stitch - is helpful in holding fabric together for sewing

The back stitch- is great for stitching fabric together. It can be used when a machine is not available.

The French seam gives a clean finish and can be executed with a sewing machine straight stitch or as we teach you in this component a hand executed back stitch.

The rolled hem - gives a clean fines to your edges.

Warp, Weft and Bias Grain in Fabric- are important as they help control how the fabric "sits and falls"


When coming to teaching I've learned that folks come to these classes, with various skill levels in various components.
